You might have seen one of my articles on Google search if you're looking for ways to make money online. I've written a great list of 200+ ways to make money online for beginners.
In this article, I'll be covering (if you're excited to make money online, you will love this!) the subreddits that can earn you money online. If you love money as much as I do, here's a list of subreddits that help you on that journey.
How To Make Money On The Side? Reddit Journey Begins!
As a proud Redditor and a person that loves making money online, I'm here to share with you what I found throughout my journey that can earn you a side income. Let's begin:
1. r/SlaveLabourÂ
On r/SlaveLabour, you can find casual online work and get gigs done well below market rate. This subreddit has grown in popularity throughout the months. You can offer any offers or tasks that you think you can provide online, except what isn't allowed by Reddit.
People on this subreddit will accept payments such as:
- Cash App
- Venmo
- PayPal
- Cryptocurrencies
- Amazon Gift Cards
Remember to follow their rules as the moderators are strict on what you can sell or not sell.
This subreddit also a point system where you earn points for completing a deal in a way to gain more trust from the Redditors there. At the time of writing this article, this subreddit has over 150,000 subscribers so you can tell that it's quite active.
2. r/signupsforpay
This subreddit is where you can pay people to sign up with your referral code or affiliate link. For example, if you have a Cash App account, you can earn $5 when someone signs up with your code.
If you don't know what affiliate marketing is, then read this article. It can be extremely profitable. It all depends on what you want to promote and how you use this subreddit.
Not sure what to promote? Here's a list:
- Cash App Referral Program
- Coinbase Referral Program
- Binance Referral Program
- Robinhood Referral Program
- Uber Referral Program
There are many more apps that'll pay you to refer to others.
3. r/Borrow
On this subreddit, you will find a lot of people asking to borrow money. Because this is an extremely risky way to earn money, there are rules and certain things you can do before lending to the borrower.
It's better to trust borrowers by looking at the age of the users' account age, activity, and learning more about them before lending.
Most users will ask to borrow an amount of money online and will pay back 10-20%.
4. r/BeerMoney
With over 389,000 subscribers, r/BeerMoney is your safest bet. You're not doing transactions with anyone but rather, you're learning methods to make a side income on Reddit.
This subreddit is quite active and new methods to make money online are posted by the community every day. If you're innovative, maybe you can learn some of these methods and create your own twist into making money online.
There are users earning from $10 to $1,000+ a month. I would highly suggest you check it out if you're looking to earn a side income online.
5. r/juststart
That's right! Just start! This subreddit is a community of bloggers that are serious enough to achieve a long term goal of passive income through affiliate marketing or advertising. It's mainly blogging and reading some of the case studies will surely keep you motivated. I was one of them. While there are other blogging communities, no community is as serious and motivated as this one. If you're looking to start a blog, I highly recommend that you check this subreddit out. My mind was blown by the case studies.
